Dr Dean Gersun graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2009. His ENT training was on the Wits Circuit from 2014. He completed his fellowship in Otorhinolaryngology in May 2018 through the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa.

Dr Gersun runs a tongue tie and newborn feeding clinic with different lactation consultants from around Gauteng.

He is a certified Mohel (Religious Circumciser and has performed hundreds of neonatal circumcisions.
